Have you ever made a huge change before? Well, 16 year old Jacee has. She had always been the bad ass girl who partied, drank, and did destructive stuff (well not ALWAYS but we'll get to that later) when she got the news that she was being sent off to a strict musical boarding school. "Enough is enough," her mother had said, "you need to expand on your talents. What ever happened to my good girl who always sang in the choir and made straight A's?" Jacee rolled her eyes. "She died in a car accident a couple years ago after her best friend was snatched away from her and sent to the other side of America." But when she arrives at this boarding school, everything changes.

Caleb Jacobson has spent years building walls to protect himself-from heartbreak, from abandonment, from the girl who walked away without looking back. When Lily Summers returns senior year, all laughter and light, she brings every buried feeling crashing back to the surface. She says she wants to make things right. Caleb can't decide if he wants to let her try. What follows is a slow unraveling-of anger, of longing, of years of unspoken words-as the two navigate friendship, forgiveness, and the impossible pull between them. But healing isn't easy, and love isn't simple-not when trust is fragile, and the past refuses to stay buried. Some stories don't get second chances. But some hearts never stop hoping.
