Between politics, mass surveillance and boredom, Alice Fincher decides to go to the deep web to privatise herself from the government and to check out the rumours of drug markets in her local area. She runs into the trouble of three mysterious drug dealing hackers, a ex-Labour MP with a high bounty on the assassination market, an ex assassin, now camgirl and a pot growing hippie who track the activity of every viewer to their cannabis website. She is kidnapped and forced to live aside them or face death. However, she learns to enjoy their company but more problems await her, including maintaining friends, the start of a lustful relationship with a colleague and perhaps a more darker side to the deep web, a surgeon who makes human dolls.

Something caught my eye and when I looked up in the mirror I saw Rykan stepping inside, shutting the door and sliding the lock in place. My heart hammered in my chest as he approached me.
