'They call it the rebirth because you never remember your last life, and so your stuck with this one'

Thalia doesn't remember much about what life used to be like but she does know 3 things: She woke up that day with a name, a gun and a twin brother.

'Everyone has their demons, some are just darker than others'.

Now all she has is a name and a hardened heart. She lost the gun but guns are replaceable. People, not so much.

Thalia's life is a mess of sharp shards and smashed glass. Then she meets Mason and finds she's not the only one with a dark past that lurks permanently in the subconscious.

'Maybe if I tell you about my demons and you tell me about yours, maybe, just maybe they will get along so well they will leave us alone'

But it was never that easy. When you spend a majority of your life taking other people's lives for a living sometimes it becomes harder to fix the cracks instead of making them deeper.

'Either that or they may just decide to help the other destroy us'.

Demons are curious things, undefinable in nature but sometimes all they need is another's demons to help them play in the darkness.
