Ten years ago, the human race decided it would be a good idea to enhance ourselves in order to become stronger. they started by enhancing our food. they plants turned strange colors and grew anywhere. it was a good thing at first, because it decreased the amount of poverty. but then we started modifying animals. they started with the livestock, but soon almost all animals were changed. but still, it seemed like it could be a good idea. it wasn't. the animals began to become increasingly aggressive. attacking humans left and right, they became a huge threat to mankind. and then it started. people who survived an attack from the freshly modified animals became monsters. flesh eating creatures whose forms were twisted and mutilated by constant fighting and aggression. they began to attack other humans. killing twice as many as the animals did until there were hardly any of us left to eat.
