Rose Phillips. Diagnosed, 7 months ago after having an unexpected seizure, with brain cancer. Dozens of inoperable tumors scattered throughout her brain.
Wesley Andrews. Born with a heart condition the doctors said would be no trouble in the future. 19 years and a heart attack later, here he is with a (mostly) dysfunctional heart.
Even though Rose has been practically living in the hospital for 7 months and Wesley visiting weekly for almost 3, they haven't met until now.
