Sam Jans is a regular girl, straight A's, quiet life, little talent, no coordination. But she does have one little quirk in her life; her neighbor. Adam has been her friend since before she can remember and to put it mildly she feels something for him. In fact, she has for a while. But Adam is clearly not interested in the awkward and clumsy girl next door. In fact, he seems perfectly content with the blonde cheerleaders he picks up. That is, until the relationship ends and he crawls back to cry on Sam's shoulder. And, as always, Sam allows it. But with the end of senior year fast approaching and Sam leaving the state for college her last chance to say something is coming up. The only question is, will the truth hurt as bad as she imagines it?
