Briella has always been a stranger to the world. Jumping from foster home to foster home, she's always been able to bury the pain and shield the emotions every new foster family brings.

Briella has never been able to experience things girls her age have, that is until her birth mother comes looking. All the walls she's been building for seventeen years of her life come crumbling down and suddenly she comes face to face with the woman that started it all.

Briella is shipped off to her biological mother's grand house in Washington D.C. All she knows about this woman who claims she's that she's Briella's mom is that she's really wealthy, too wealthy for her own good in fact, considering she sent a private jet and a thirty person attendance crew. Briella Cammalyn Bradley's life is about to be flipped completely inside out and for once, she's not the one in control.

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.
