The Abnormalities - Lia

Lia Hart doesn't understand how she could be so normal yet so unreal. For most of the time, she's a pretty normal person. A straight B student, a responsible daughter, and a loyal friend. But then there's this other side to her that she can't explain. A side that she knows she must keep secret: she can make fire jump from her fingertips like a lighter that's being switched on and off.

For the first fourteen years of her life, Lia's been able to keep her "abnormality" a secret. No one knows that she's a freak, not even her parents. But then, one day in class, she accidentally starts a fire. The flames are quickly extinguished and the incident is soon forgotten but this won't be the last case. More are to come. And if Lia is going to live a normal life, she must learn more about her trait and where exactly she's come from or she'll become a freak no one will want to associate with.
