As the war of Merrow and Mankind summits, the aftereffects wipe mer-kind's population greatly. Juvia's parents are murdered, and she is left alone, orphaned, and she lives her life avoiding the dangers of humans looking to kill.
The massacring finally ends, but the rest of the mermaids and Juvia go in hiding. Saddened and afraid, Juvia lives each day of her life in terror that she will one day be killed. But that sadness soon turns to anger.
What will be her fate? Will she be slain like the rest of her blood and kin? Or will she live on and take her revenge?
