Everybody has a hero. Every soldier wants that special someone to come home to. For Scarlet Chambers her's is a soldier. For Ajay Harrison his is Scarlet. Scarlet meets her hero/soldier during a heroic event at her school and she instantly falls in love with him. Ajay Harrison is 22 and is one of the top trained United States Marines in the world. Scarlet is a 18 year old seinor with honors. What and how will this relationship turn out? And will he always be there to protect her? How will they last while they're in two different country's?

When Lindsey was 12 years old her parents split up and her mom moved to North Carolina taking 12 year old Lindsey with her. Lindsey left behind her very best friend Bucky Barnes their dads were in the military together and had opened up their own medical practice. Lindsey hadn't been back to Georgia in three years and wasn't allowed to have any contact with anyone back home including her dad. But three years after leaving she finally gets to return to her safe haven her home where she belongs. And Bucky is more than thrilled to have her back home. But when one accident happens between the two of them a slew of family drama happens and causes more family problems and Bucky and his brother to be sent away to join the military after high school. Leaving Lindsey to take care of everything by herself.
