AU in which Betty grew up with her abusive parents Alice and Hal cooper. Her brother and sister abandoned her. When she's 10 she decides to learn self defence, boxing and weapons training secretly to protect herself however she doesn't have the strength to stand up to her parents at such a young age. When they die tragically a few years later Betty is taken by social services and moved from foster home to foster home many of which abused her or worse. At 15 she finally managed to find some relatives that were nice and were willing to take her in. The blossoms. She meets new friends and old ones and a secret brother she knew nothing about, however no-one knows about her past except the fact that it was traumatising or the fact that she is badass that is the strongest person both physically and mentally and doesn't need protection. Will all come to light when she is kidnapped the night of her initiation to become Serpent Queen? Will she survive or will those trying to get to Betty hurt the ones she loves so she sacrifices herself?

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.

She's the quite one, and although she has an amazing posse of friends, she never really feels like she fits in. That is, until she meet the guy who made her heart skip a beat. This book is a roller coaster of emotions good and bad. There will be heartache and sadness. There will be happiness and love but most of all there will be bullshit.

She's not been able to see anything for a long time, many kids have picked on her and now in this new town how will these new kids see her? She reacts sadly when called beautiful, misty because she can never return the compliment back, how will she feel like when she finally has a partner however she may never be able to see him and feels guilty for not giving him the same love he gives her back to him.
