Be My Princess

When we were little, all the girls wanted to be princesses - I wanted to be a story book character. They played with their dolls in pink, fluffy dresses - I read my book underneath the trees. They were the kids with perfectly painted fingernails - I was the kid with bad habit of biting my nails.

Tessa Lee has never been a princess. It has always been clear that she would choose books over a crown and sparkly shoes. In other words, she was the nobody of Whittmore High School. While spending hours with her best friend sound like fun, she can’t help but wonder what it would feel like to be somebody’s princess. With a crazy best friend to push her out of her comfort zone and a project with the school’s bad boy, life as she knows it will change and send her mind into a mushy mess. Maybe being a princess would be nice?
