Daizi Carline, a girl of sixteen, is set with her life. Her family is settled and happy, her grades are better than the vast majority of her classmates, and she has a best friend who will never let her go. The only let down would have to be her school. Daizi has never been a big believer in love, which doesn't really allow her to fit in, in stark contrast to her best friend, Hadli McMillan. The very epitome of popularity and good looks, Hadli has people falling for her left and right. Be that as it may, she's been there for Daizi through hell and back, and Daizi can't help but be grateful for her. Until a certain someone comes and ruins it all.
Skyler Helm is possibly the first boy who's taken an interest in Daizi. Unfortunately, Hadli seems to have taken the same interest in Skyler himself. The result is a dilemma that Daizi doesn't want to involve herself in. So why is it that she can't get Skyler off her mind?
And why is she starting to see all the flaws in her friendship with Hadli?
Charged with feelings foreign to her, Daizi discovers that no matter how many excuses you make for something, it'll come back to bite you in the end. If you don't like his book I understand, but maybe give me some facts or information on what I can do better to improve this book. This book is about just some regular high school teens and just their life. Characters (Key Main Characters Kind of): Marvin and Daniel are very different. Daniel is a straight A-B student, is in a band, is a lady magnet ;So Marvin calls him; is very quiet at times, he's also 17 years old. Marvin is the opposite of Daniel,he's 19. Now James is an interesting boy; he is a big partier, loves to surf, his best friend is Marvin, he's a player but not a player like Marvin is, he has dark brown hair, also dark blue/ green eyes, he loves his sister Jade and watches out for her. Now Jade, interesting girl I have to say; she's hates the popularity but she deals with it, she has green cat like eyes, light brown hair, she's not a type of girl who dresses up to impress or anything, she only does what she wants and needs to, her make up is almost always light, most boys think of her has a "hot girl", she's a surfer; might I say quiet an amazingly great one to; she follows her brother to his friends parties and things like that to make sure he's safe, she has a crush on Daniel, but so do all the other girls too.
