The true story of the world's species of gearheads who now face a made up yet capable future of extinction for not only the the population of gearheads, but also the the whole human population.
Brandon was always a man of adventure, but he loves to go on these adventures with his favorite vehicles. He thought his life was complete, until he got the biggest surprise of his life. After a global terrorist attack, the US government decided to either make the gearheads like any other human, or to be wiped of the face of the earth. Brandon didn't stand by, he decided to be who he is and fought back. Unfortunately he lost everything.His family and friends turned on him and handed him over to the the government in fear that he would some day become a danger. Brandon was rescued by a team of resisters known as the crew who happen to be what is left of the gearhead population. Later Brandon finds out that the terrorist attack happens to have been caused by a man connected to the government.

After that, the world slowly began to fall to pieces and almost every country made a scramble to figure a way to make space travel easier so they could colonize a planet. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.Complete

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Complete
