Young Sayuri had to grow up without the aid of her mother, for she had died while she was still no more than a infant. So she grew up under her father's wing who was in fact a high ranking military officer. Of course anyone is going to be nervous and scared around such a person with such hard core ways of raising a child. She grew up in America before she moved away from her father and lived in the peaceful country that is Japan. So entering a high school she continued her education sometimes being quite baffled with their form of rather lenient discipline. Only of course after all she faced much worse during her time in America. But even that couldn't stop her from coming across the one problem that faces every young high school student when entering a new school in a new place... Isolation.... Isolation so deep that it caused bullying to surface towards little Sayuri who didn't wish for it to be this way. So she was quiet and stoic but suffered in silence. She didn't speak very much during that time. But one boy actually spoke to her. He was kind and considerate. He was a leader and a follower. Something only she could see within him that no one else could, but just like her. He was also suffering in silence due to one of her bullies. Her name was Rei. A girl who had fallen for his best friend after making him believe she had loved him. Sayuri often found the boy in sorrow and anger because she would compare him to his best friend. Saying things such as he could never possibly compare to what his best friend was. And no one likes being compared to another. This boy was Takashi Homura. A boy she had developed a crush on. And the boy who was the only one to ever talk to her and hear her quiet voice. But was this her first time seeing something like this happen?
