On the 18th birthday of each individual in the country, the necklace given at birth suddenly starts to glow. It looks just like a pebble, broken in half, but the power it holds determines your future. You have one half, and your supposed soulmate has the other. As you walk through life, the closer you get to your soulmate, the warmer and lighter the necklace feels. The farther away you get though, the heavier and colder the necklace feels.
The day after your 18th birthday, you set off to find this soulmate, using your necklace as a compass.
A group of three friends - Jemma Troy, Sandler Brooks, and Kassandra Cali - who have never been out of the ordinary, suddenly find themselves thrown on a journey. They think they are just searching for their soulmates - but are they ready for the truth?
