Cara's a princess. She hates it. She hates dresses, dances, heals, being rich, having everything handed to her on a silver plate, and the fact that the 'commoners' are treated like dirt. She loves animals, dirt, jeans, converse, sneaking out, and playing in the mud with the servant's kids. One other thing. She's not sure the rebels that are trying to destroy her family are in the wrong.
Alexander-Alex-worked for everything that he has. He hates the royals. He's even the leader of the resistance that is trying to take down the royal family. Alex joined the military, needing more money. With his luck, he got posted as the head guard for the royal family.
When Alex and Cara cross paths, love ensues. Will they be able to be together, or will status keep them apart? Will Cara join the resistance and bring down her parents? And what will happen to Cara when Alex finds out her darkest secret?
