Celestine who lives in a refuge up in the cascade mountains for protection, is one of the few humans that has survived and is living by the vicious flesh-eating creatures called Grimms that have overrun the world, as humans have become their predators and are haunted by the night-living monsters.
humanity is being threatened of extinction, and Celestine try to survive while she begins her most dangerous and important journey of her life.
