A crush, though defined as just a fickle liking of someone, is much more. It can be a full throttle passion for someone, an all around obsession. The definition of a crush cannot nearly be defined as a fantasy of dating a certain someone, but also can be defined in the fact that a smile can light up your entire day. It is typically a small infatuation with another person that seems to be more important than it actually is. Teenagers develop a lot of different emotions when experiencing a crush. Usually, they become somewhat shy around that person and begin to get nervous. Many people mistake the term “crush” for love.

A crush is something that can also make you miserable. But that must be why they call it a crush, because you go through all of this dreaming, hoping, wishing, praying, go through everything BUT be turned down in the end.
