Elena is the definition of dirt poor and unlucky. And up until recently, her life has been on the road to nowhere. Her apartment is bland, her job is a dead-end, and college is a dream she can't afford. Her days are spent in a mindless routine of working and sleeping which she loathes to the deepest depths of her heart.

She wanted a change of routine; but when she saves the life of a stranger, she gets far more than she bargained for.
