It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! So why wasn't the filly prancing around in circles shouting "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again? Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for. So, knowing where her current path would lead her, there is really no sensible alternative than throwing everything away and changing her destiny to one she can agree to, setting her up for a life of intrigue and adventure, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding her and a certain pegasus, to find out who they really are. Unfortunately, in doing so, she ruins the carefully laid out plans a certain Princess of the Sun had drawn up. But knowing the forgiving nature of Celestia, there is no way that could lead to conflict, right?

Princess Luna and her elder sister Princess Celestia were members of Heaven's guardians. When it's time for the inhabitants in Heaven to go to sleep, she has the ability to raise the moon. Everything was perfect, but that didn't last long since Luna uncovered a sinister secret that only Sera, the Exorcists, and Adam knew about, leaving everyone else in Heaven in the dark. The Extermination. Luna addressed them, horrified, telling them that it is wicked and wrong to slaughter sinners in Hell. Her sister was also alarmed when Luna informed her about it. Luna was then sentenced to Hell as a result of her questioning them, leaving Princess Celestia devastated to watch her dear sister go. After being banished to Hell, Luna vowed to defend those who had sinned, built her own empire, and attracted the interest of several demons and sins. Will she ever get to see her sister again? Who knows.

After landing in a pile of poison joke, Celestia an discord turn back into children loosing their memories of their past 1000 or so years. Can twilight figure out what has happened and save them before their fates are changed forever.

In this story, Princess Luna is faced with her inner demons, but she only has the will to suppress them for so long. Princess Celestia suspects something is happening with her dear sister, yet she can't figure it out. Whenever she asks Luna, Luna can't speak due to a curse. However as Celestia questions Luna, Luna's inner demons grow stronger. She ends up entering her inner self and attempts to fight it, but when she loses, all hell breaks loose and this time the elements can't stop this enemy, because as Luna loses. The elements of harmony are destroyed due to an ancient and forgotten power that Luna's inner demon knows about. It is left up to a single alicorn to fight off this terrifying antagonist. Will this be the end of Equestria as we know it, or will the single alicorn sate the disaster?

Luna is home after one thousand years of exile on the moon. She has Celestia, and her old friend, Midnight Winter, by her side. She'll need them, for though she has repented from her deeds as Nightmare Moon, the ponies of Equestria still think of her as The Mare in the Moon, stuff of nightmares and terrifying stories.
