Two & a 1/2 Flaws

"Hey Austin, feeling any better?" Emma asked with a concerned look on her face.
She was the one person I trusted my life with. When I sat that I mean it LITERALLY. She held out a bottle of water for me, I mumbled a thanks and took three large gulps from it. "You wanted to talk about something urgent with me?" she asked. I knew that she knew from the look on my face that it was far from good. Even then she sat there patiently waiting for me to answer. She was the one person in my life who knew all my secrets. We met in kindergarten and have been best friends ever since.
"The thing which I knew would happen one day happened at last."
She gasped loudly "Seriously? You're kidding right?"
"Does it look like it?" I replied gravely. My eyes started burning with unshed tears, m vision became blurry. Slowly tears started to fall "I can't do it anymore, I'm moving out of that hell hole!"
Emma shook her head and replied "Where will you stay? Who will pay the rent? Your medicines? You need to take care of yourself." She spoke in disagreement. But I was hardly paying attention to her "and you know the best part?" I asked, without waiting for her reply I said "he asked me to be his best man"
"You refused, right?" Shaking my head in denial I replied "not only did agree I also gave my blessings for their wedding". "Oh, Austin! I know you are hurting really bad, I wish I could do something to make you feel better." She said hurtfully. "I wish there was something." I saw the time on my wrist watch which said it was two forty five. "It's two forty five you have classes and I have to be at the hospital before three. Lift please?"
