My boyfriend, Colin, didn't seem human. I had always known that. When he finally confessed though, it was unbelievable. Vampire or werewolf, the classics, I could handle, but not what he told me. Bat. With a capital B. That's not for stress, that's the species name. A monster. I doubt it. But here's the thing:
He says he can't stay with me at night. That's when the monster is unleashed.
Now, as a witch, yes, regretfully, I AM a witch, I'm going to fix it. With the locket on my neck, the hair in the brush, a few bottles of mine and Tammy, my best friend, also a witch's, blood, I'm going to keep him with me. I can do it. I'm Hannah. I can.
