Ghosts. Who in their right mind would believe in ghosts? Well, that's what I thought before moving into this house. Weird bumps in the night? The house is just settling. Things gone missing? Probably just forgot it somewhere else. Unsolved murder? Well... I got nothing logical for that after what I've seen lately. At least my neighbor, Mark, believes me. Then again, he was there when it first started back up. I'm sure you'll think I'm nuts too, but you've gotta believe me when I tell you I'm telling the truth!

The Neighbour's House
My neighbour's house is normal. There are two stories, stairs, and a tiny porch. A red door, and many windows with pretty crimson shutters. My neighbour's house is normal. The lights are on when they need to be, and off when they don't. The grass is mown, and there are sometimes cars in the driveway. My neighbour's house is normal. They turn off their lights about the same time we do. Except in that one room. The lights in the white room stay on late each night. I tried to watch them, once, to see how late they stayed on. I fell asleep. When I woke up, they were already off. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I hear sounds from the house. Almost like muffled screams. This was unusual, I was normally home alone for a few hours before my parents arrived. "That's weird, why is everyone home?" I asked out loud. It was more for me then anyone else.
