“…that…mine….seat…taken?” he asked, smiling faintly, his green eyes sparkling like the stars.
I pulled off my headphones, cutting off Jessie J’s pleas about price tags and gave him a confused look.
“Sorry?” I asked. I had not heard him the first time, the music in my ears muffling his words.
“That seat’s mine…I think?” he answered smirking politely, as I climbed to my corner of the berth and cccurled up at that corner and was about to put my headphones on, when
“I’m Jake.” He smiled, his eyes beautifully bright, like a moonlit night.
“hi…” I smiled back at this stranger in a navy blue shirt, “I’m Elizabeth.”
And that was how we met.
**it’s amazing how some people just click, sometimes… it’s weird how you connect and don’t at the same time…I guess, fate is to blame when destiny doesn’t let them cross the barriers…but let’s not get into that… the think is the first romantic thing I’ve EVER written…if you will, read the poem and give me some criticism, maybe, in the comments box below…?
