It started only a few years ago. Teenagers between 14 to 18 were the first to show the symptoms. No one knows the cause or why it began with them. People called them freaks, but I thought what they had was beautiful. I didn't dare hope that I would become one of them. Society called them monsters, and began to want to imprison and even kill them. They were afraid of what they couldn't understand. I understood perfectly. They were gifted. I met one of these "gifted." He was so beautiful it made me a little afraid of him, but I was fascinated with him and his gift. Once he turned his attentions to me, my life was never the same again. Because around that time... I received a gift that I had always secretly wanted.
