Sometimes the mind makes you see things that aren't there. Your mind can make you feel at ease or in terrible danger. Whenever it is weak, it will show you the worst of things, make you feel the worst of things. You can pretend nothing is wrong, putting on big smile everyday, while in the meantime the fear and pain are destroying you on the inside. It can make you capable of many things you probably would never do, things others would never expect you to do. But if you don't fight against the weakness and believe those lies your mind tells you at times, then there's no escape. Sometimes you have to fight yourself, sometimes you are your own enemy. ''Your mind can be either your prison or your palace. What you make it is yours to decide'' ― Bernard Kelvin Clive, Your Dreams Will Not Die

Everyone has that one life changing moment, That moment defines you. It shapes who you are as a person, and pushes you down the path that leads to the rest of your life. Sometimes you see it coming from a mile away, but other times it happens in a split second. That's how it went for me, one quick flash and my life was completely derailed I see the beautiful bridesmaids and the cute little flower girl, walking down the isle. Then I saw a handicapped stranger sitting on a wheelchair at the bridal stage. My eyes meet his immediately as i stand by the door. I froze, feeling my heartbeat quicken. They opened the double door wider allowing me to walk through it with my friends and family.
