Jack Kurdy thought he'd fought it all having gone through two divorces, Green Beret training, losing a limb and the horrors of the war on terror through 10 combat deployments. He soon found out that a new war for him was under way that he never fought before. A war against things that aren't there. Or rather shouldn't be. Watch a man who's gone through so much go even further. Jack will soon find out just how much that is in what's slowly is turning out to be his final war. ***Author's note*** I have never served in the armed forces and am solely going off limited knowledge through research of various mediums. I have nothing but the utmost respect in those who serve and don't claim to actually known what it is like to go through what these brave men and women do everyday. This book is merely realistic FICTION and for simply entertainment. My written work here does not guarantee fact to be represented here or opinions or thoughts of others. I hope above all you enjoy it.

The second I saw him I just knew my world was going to be turned upside-down. There was no way I was making it out of this bar without him by my side. But, he surprised me by not being a like every other guy I have ever met. His sky blue eyes pulled me in, that lip ring he's always messing with made my insides squeeze. When I found out what his career was I was crushed. Where does this leave me? I've seen my fair share of everything being an SEAL, the best sniper in at least the US. Now I'm an undercover Hitman working for a backdoor of the government. Nobody knows my name. I don't have room for distractions. One distraction, people die. Her candy apple green eyes were unlike any thing I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot. The things this woman did to me with just one look made me want to walk away from the one thing I loved the most. Worst thing, I can't tell her anything about the strides I've made in my career, yet she's the only one I want to know everything. That makes any chance of us dangerous.
