Jack Kurdy thought he'd fought it all having gone through two divorces, Green Beret training, losing a limb and the horrors of the war on terror through 10 combat deployments. He soon found out that a new war for him was under way that he never fought before. A war against things that aren't there. Or rather shouldn't be.

Third book in the Hitman series! It can be read as a standalone but highly suggest reading the others in order to understand the characters a bit better! Fall for some romance. Single dad, widow, ex-SEAL, all things I didn't want to be seen as through the eyes of someone i care about. Keeping it all to myself was my biggest mistake. When my wife died I honestly didn't think love again was ever going to be in the cards for me unless you counted my amazing son. I relied on one night stands to get me through, and drinks, lots of drinks. Running into Logan shook me to my core. Single, nurse, has two best friends, likes cooking.
