Nylie Stone's parents died in a car accident when she was young and she was sent to live her with Aunt and Uncle in Washington. One day she takes a weekend trip to New York City without telling them and the next thing she knows, she's been shipped off to the Washington Junior Reformatory, a place where troubled teens go to get set on the straight and narrow. She doesn't feel like she belongs here at all, but when she meets some people who will change her life forever, Nylie's glad she attended they psychopath school in the first place.
