Brooklyn Masket is a 24 year old girl originally from the Perth Hills but is currently living in Melbourne with her boyfriend, Noah Tyke. One day Brooklyn receives a call from her 21 year old sister, Kennedy to tell her that their dad has passed away and that she is needed back on the farm. Brooklyn says goodbye to her boyfriend and gets the next plane out of Melbourne to Perth. She arrives at the airport and gets driven to the farm by Caden, the stable boy. What will happen when she returns? Will she rekindle her old romance with Caden? And will she ever be able to get back on a horse after what happened to her when she was younger?

Hey guys, So this is my Josh and Maya story. This is the first time I'm doing something like this and hopefully I'm never gonna be as obsessed about a ship again in my life :D. This story takes place throughout the time from the end of the show. Maya and her friends are in their Sophomore year in High School while Josh is a Freshman at NYU. By the end of the story, Maya will be starting her senior year of Highschool and Josh will be a junior at College or so. I tried to combine the Disney sentiment of the show with more adolescent content. So there will be a bit more intense stuff here and there. But the first few chapters will be more light and modest so bare with me please and give it a chance ;). Also, English is not my first language so if there is some weird wording/grammar/syntax and misspelling, I apologize in advance;). Hope you will all enjoy! Update on Januray 2023: I just finished my major construction on the story. I didnt change the plot nor the sweet scenes between Josh and Maya but I did change the stuff after the plot because I made it too dramatic in the first place. He's someone who often feels misunderstood, both by his family and the world around him. He's introspective and struggles to connect with others. the family was on a three-hour drive to Grandma's birthday. The morning was filled with the usual chaos of a busy household, with Jess rushing to pack and making sure everything was ready for the trip. Nathan, already packed and waiting patiently, had a relaxed attitude, dressed in a hoodie and jeans with his long black hair slicked back and a faint goatee, which earned him a critical look from his mom, Jess, who didn't like his style. As they loaded the car, Mark double-checked everything, while Jess made sure nothing was forgotten. During the car ride their car broke down in the forest, Nathan wandered off and discovered a hidden village. The villagers initially appeared hostile but eventually spared his parents. While his family adapted quickly-his mother becoming a caregiver and his father earning respect as a hunter-Nathan struggled to adjust. Life in the village felt foreign, and he struggled with survival skills. Assigned a harsh mentor, Nathan faced frustration and mistreatment but showed persistence. After standing up to bullies, he earned some respect, and his mentor began to soften, though Nathan still felt like an outsider, unsure if he would ever belong, Nathan never thought what his life will be like in the next 10 years. Full of journeys and unexpected turns he never thought would come true, He just wants to go home....
