Mare is a Red blood with powers, like a silver.

But so is Del.

She was raised in the woods, until her grandfather was recently killed by a silver, the same time around when the terrorists attacked the capital.

You see she is a Red Blood, not meant to have powers. She is safe hiding. She may not be in the castle, but she is there.

She is always there.
