My version of Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, City of Heavenly Fire, the last book. I love all her books, and so I decided, why not write a fan-fiction? It starts around a week after City of Lost Souls. Here is a short intro to the book:                                                                                          

At last, Jace has escaped from the clutches of Sebastian and is reunited with Clary. But with Sebastian still out there, plotting something new to destroy the Shadowhunter world, no one is safe. On top of that imminent threat, Jace glows with a Heavenly Fire nobody seems to be able to cure; Alec is heartbroken; Maureen, the rogue vampire and her clan have allied with Sebastian; and turmoil stirs among the Clave. Can Clary and the Shadowhunters, along with her best friend Simon, keep the Shadow World from falling apart? Will love be their salvation or destruction? A novel full of romance, action, adventure and twists...

This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way? On top of that horrible sundae of a life there's a cherry of danger to top it off. More and more problems pile up on her plate and she is burdened with all of it.
