About the events after the Pearl Harbor movie.

After the events of Pearl Harbor and the Doolittle Raid, in a twist of plot (as contrast to the film), both Rafe McCawley and Danny Walker survived the Raid, and made it back safely to the States. Danny has yet to know that he is a father-to-be at the start of the story. 

The story follows the love triangle between Rafe, Danny and Evelyn Johnson, as World War Two ended and how their lives changed following the war. 

DISCLAIMER: I'm a huge Rafe-Evelyn fan, and totally not a Danny-Evelyn lover. I'm extremely not cool with Evelyn choosing Danny in the end (in the film). In this story, it is how I want things to be like, and not like the heartbreaking love triangle in the movie. I've read a bunch of phan, so why not write one? Dan Howell's life couldn't be any better at the moment. Steve McGarrett hasn't has had the best of starts, he lost his mother when he was young, so his father shipped him of to the mainland along with his sister on separate flights. When he becomes a SEAL his father was killed while he is on the phone talking to the killer who he manages to kill later on. But everything seems to change when he meets a quirky Marine by the name of Sapphire O'Loughlin, everything seems so much better. When Jamie finally comes back to Hawaii, Life is on the up for Steve; but how long will it last? Sapphire O'loughlin is a US Marine but she's getting board of the Californian experience. So like a normal person she transfers to Hawaii; but it isn't how its made out to be because on her first day she's caught up in a bank heist, then she's rejected by the one person she thought cared about her even if it was only a little bit. Everyone has skeletons in the closet, Sapphire more than others and when these skeletons come back and haunted her things may just wrong. But when she meets a Navy SEAL who is nothing but good to her things may just brighten up for once and a family may come out of all of it.

(DISCLAIMER: I really hope writing this isn't insensitive, if you think this is disrespectful please let me know, thankyou.) what happens when the only guy you've ever loved is a Lieutenant under the command of Major Jimmy Doolittle? We met at the hospital, I was a nurse, he was a pilot. He was ordered to go off to duty anywhere in the world with a 50% chance of survival, whilst I was stuck in Hawaii as a nurse helping the critically injured. Can things really work out between 2 people who are what seems like 3 worlds apart? maybe not, but I have to try, even if it could end in heartbreak. Enjoy. (Ok so the events that are in the film will not be exactly to how I'm writing them, again please tell me if this is insensitive.)
