Mermaids are something most people wouldn't dare dream of, or even take their bare existence into consideration. Natasha Wishcot know's much about these not-so-fictional creatures. She is one herself. When Asha's parents die tragically in a car accident, she is forced to move in with her 'oh so beloved' cousin, Sylvie, and wait out the summer in a different country until she can go to college. But will she be able to? Inconspicuous events occur and she finds her self leaving her cozy beach house, and living in a bigger and better one. This one is different. This one is owned by fan girls number one prey, One Direction. When Asha meets Louis there is an instant connection she would've never expected. But what will happen at the end of the summer? Hecate's life was turned around when Nyx and Devin took her in. Going from basically feral to completely functional was a task in itself, but she couldn't be more grateful for all their help. Now, at Willow Creek University she's finally getting the life she always wished she could have. Where people don't care what she is, just who. There she meets Calypso, a mermaid, and the two become fast friends regardless of the drastic differences in lifestyles. The two of them, for their own reasons just wanted a physical relationship with someone. What started out as friends with benefits eventually becomes something much more complicated, but they're ready to try regardless. The problem lies in Hecate's past. She doesn't remember her younger years at all. Everything before the Coven just isn't there. Then there's her curse. She can't ever lie, and sometimes has to just shout random truths when her anxiety gets the better of her. Only those closest to her know of her curse, but what if it's the key to figuring out her past?
