This is my first story, and I need to learn how this works... so go easy on me. And I don't own any of the art or cover art used in the story. Credit goes to the artist. I'm also thinking about just rewriting the whole story in the future maybe... But idk yet. You're Y/N. You heard rumors of a island with some sort of treasure in it.. Nobody knows what exactly the treasure is... But people that have tried to figure it out have gone missing. Except for a crazy old man you saw on the streets warning everyone about the island, But you were always a curious person, and you needed that money so you can afford living in your home.. So you decide to solve the mystery yourself, but what you find was unexpected.. and disturbing... You are not the same as what you once were. With Vampires, Sylphs, Revenge, and Alpha powers coming to drive me insane, I'm not sure what's right and what's wrong anymore. My friends are slipping, I'm slipping, everything I've worked so hard to keep normal has gone away completely. I've lost my grip on reality, and I'm being forced into the world of the paranormal. This is a novella I had to write for school and I would like some feed back. EXCERPT Pain is something I've become very accustomed to. Whether I like it or not. It sounds mental though, I know. My biggest fear is being alone, even though I already am. As I walk into the school I see them, my 'friends'. They're sitting in the quad all chatting to one another. I try to turn around before one sees me but I see one waving me over so I'm left with no choice but to go. "Hey guys" I greet them with a shaky voice. So if anyone has feedback for me or just wants to talk comment or message me anytime and I'll get back to you as soon an I can.
