Lyric has lived most of her life trying to lay low by hiding in plain sight. When she is enrolled into a school that only shifters are allowed to attend, she adapts and overcomes. At the school she is seen as a quiet, cold, and weak in the eyes of others. She soon is woken to the cold truth that the one she has been running from has finally found her. Who will find out her secret. What will she do to protect it. And how human is Lyric really?

Nora lost her left arm in combat in Afghanistan. She had the choice of letting her friends die before her eyes, or loosing her arm, she chose to loose her arm. Now she is no use to the marines.
