Humanity is finally starting to settle down and technological advancements have vastly improved life as we know it. A new species has started to arise through unknown means and locations, and, while some are okay with it, others aren't, and now war is looming over everyone's head. A terrorist  group started bombing countries and making it look another country. Soon everyone started blaming everyone leading to war without purpose, and it ends with nuclear war wiping out almost everything, and during this, a group of people with intentions of causing global level disaster as an insane attempt to end the war, along with everyone else. They planned on detonating a very large nuclear device in the north and south pole while the countries were weak to start the next ice age. Now everyone on earth who's left are suffering from the extreme cold and whatever lurks in it.
