Ethan isn't capable of love. His walls are impenetrable and he plans to keep it that way. He's haunted by the loss of his birth father and he can't afford to lose anyone else he cares about. Ethan has enough people to protect and he's not looking for anyone else. Then he meets Arian.

Arian isn't looking for love. He's been burnt too many times before and lost too much already. After a relationship goes south and he has to move to the next town over he can't afford to be betrayed by anyone else who claims to care about him. Arian has a bright future he can't afford to lose if his shameful secret is exposed again. Then he meets Ethan.

These two are inexplicably drawn to each other and while they may not be what each other want, they may find that they are exactly what each other need.
