Emily Shultz has had a not-so-normal life living in Atlantic City, New Jersey with her father and 15 year old cousin. Her father works as a bartender as she works as a waitress in the Tropicana hotel (Where they get a free room from working).

With her mixed up life with not many friends (from being home schooled her whole life) and having countless drunk men trying to go after her, life couldn't get anymore crazy. That is until this mysterious man known to her as Mistero comes into the bar asking not only for a drink but... Friendship?

As Emily learns what friendship is with this mysterious man, is she learning something that's more than just being friends? Plus trying to find out who her new "Friend" is, it turns out to be able to put her into danger? It's all just another add on to Emily's crazy life!

Aaron Sanchez is a 19 year old that was born into a rich and powerful life. From his parents always traveling to Italy (his family is Italian) and making deals in the 'Sanchez' companies, it's nothing that Aaron has ever wanted.

When he finally gets the chance to take his own way and be free, he chooses to go the Atlantic City, New Jersey to go into the wonderful life of drinking, gambling, and hot chicks.

But after meeting this one strange waitress names Emily all his plans change. He doesn't want her to know about his past, so he used the one nickname that meant the most to him: Mistero.

When he finds a different interest in her he is shocked. He wants a... Friendship? As he tries to keep friends with her, he starts to notice new feelings inside of him. Is it possible that he would now want to be more than friends?
