This is my First time writing on this website. I am a poet. I am 19 years old and I hope that by using this platform I can get my work recognised worldwide. Poetry Is my passion and I deeply love creating worlds and painting ideas as well as inflicting emotions into those who read my work. Please feel free to read it and vote it and if possible share it. Beauty Behind the Mascara

There she sit before the mirror on the wall
she tells herself she is not the most beautiful of them all
she looks at herself and the sour tears fall from her face
love I see the real beauty that can't be compared without a trace

Sadly she does not listen to me 
she puts on the blush and eyeliner to be an angel she wish to see
more and more make up to cover the ugly soul
applies more mascara to make her feel perfect

On this wonderful night with the moon shining its light
Having a splendid evening without a single fight
I hear laughter of mockery and jealousy
The clatter of heals out the halls I then see

She sits there alone in the rain to hide her tears
I sit next to her and tell her to let go of her fears
she asks" why be with this ugly girl ?"
My dear you do not see that beyond the Mascara you are as beautiful as a pearl

Your beauty is something no make up could improve
because perfection was Gods first move
The beauty behind the Mascara is heavenly sweet
As our lips lock I enjoy that taste which is a treat

You need not put on shades of blush
To look beautiful you need not rush
For your angelic face is beautiful since the day you were bornAll Rights Reserved

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken.
