Once Upon a Time, there was a small town called "Whitacre"; so small that everyone knew each other. So when they were granted with newcomers, obviously the whole town knew about it and quickly became curious.

The Samhains looked like a simple family. The father Cynbel (45) and his wife Aife (40) had 4 children, Alden (14, male), Alastrina (17, female), Aleena (19, female) and Darcy (21, male). The father was a writer of many famous books such as "Halloween Gone Wrong" or "October 31st: A day to remember"; his specialty resided in Halloween theme books.
The mother was a teacher in university, her subject was "History" or "How it actually happened" as she refers to it and her favorite topic was (you can take a guess) Halloween and its origins. Darcy and Aleena both attend her class (on different levels of course) but nonetheless, she prides herself in teaching kids the "real truth". Alden and Alastrina were both attending high school and were pretty shy and quiet.

Everything was fine, until Halloween came along..
