I woke up in a room tied up. I could undo the ropes easily, they were certainly no Gordian knot.
There's other people here, we're underground.
Memories gone, some coming back.
All I know is, that this is all going to hell. The traitors are winning. God help us.

A/N: if this story is similar to anyone else's i do apologise but I didn't copy. This work is my creation and I would appreciate if it wasn't copied.

Grove hill has a history of mysterious disappearances and deaths. This is the story on how I got to the bottom of it and what I found on the other side. Jade the small town girl who loved to hard and broke even harder found herself in a strange alluring world of misfits and killers. She doesn't know exactly how she ended up in the position she in all she knows is that she'll fight to stay. In a killer string of events she's pushed into corners and tested left and right. Will she fight for what she wants will she stand up and protect the secrets she has discovered. Or will she let it kill her. A angel of light for a man who has a dark past, will she lose self control or will she bargain with the devil himself. There might even be a twist that nobody was ready for. The killing are happening again I said to my mother from the living room, she walked in to watch the news reporter explain the chain of evens that have been happening a little to close together in grove hill. The reporter spoke clearly "the last where about's have not been released yet but the lapd have been on the case for months now with the disappearances still happening will we ever get to the bottom of the phantom killer back to you John" both me and my mom looked at each other in sync saying lock up I'll take the upstairs rooms and you lock up down here. Walking up the steps my head kept circling around the fact that more and more disappearances are happening who or what could possibly be doing this. I made sure to lock every window, heading back downstairs I heard a plate drop and a scream. Mom! Mom answer me! Circling into the kitchen I see my mom laid out on the floor blood gushing from her stomach. No mom I scrabbled to grab a towel and placed it hard on her wound. I fumbled my phone a few times before I got it unlocked typing in 9-1-1 I heard someone in the corner say tsk tsk tsk I wouldn't do that.

"May I ask?" I supported my head with one hand, sending a captivated look to his deep dark eyes. "Is it true you only need six questions to win a girl over?" Corners of his lips slightly twitched before answering. "I think that's quite underestimating me, Marianne. I can win anyone over. And as quickly as I damn please." I chuckled. Everything would have seemed funny to me then. Even though he pretty likely wasn't so much joking. He was young, handsome, charismatic, smart and a diplomat on top of that. All together it was making him freaking good at fooling people and getting exactly what he wanted from them. And they would look forward to getting screwed by him... "Don't laugh." I bit my lip and shook my head, taking a new drink from the counter and gazing at him through the glass bottom. It was dangerous. Once I wasn't paying for the booze, I drank well over the limit. And started to behave weirder than ever, it's emberrassing to just think about it. Yet he didn't quite mind, and kept providing me with new drinks, having surely a great fun. (...) That's just so you know, officer, I'm not completely responsible for what happened that night or later on. Although I feel deep regret for all the following events. *** One says 'vampires'. The other one sneers 'for children'. Well, what if they were just... humans? With benefits. A kink, if you will. What then? #1 diplomat [16/1/2022 - 22/2/2022 - 10/8/2022] #1 topsecret [21/1/2022 - 10/8/2022] --- A sort-of-vampire, sort-of-mafia, sort-of-dark-romance, sort-of-crime story... I blended all those genres I love to create something new, perhaps a little more realistic, perhaps a little more fictional. I don't know, I'm curious what you'll say to it. - Mature content and language alert, but nothing too explicit, I believe... Hope you'll enjoy. Please vote and comment⭐️

Crossing Into Forever

53 parts Complete Mature

In the darkness of her dreams, she saw herself standing at a window looking down below, only to see a misting, swirling fog. She could not see the ground and did not know how far down it was. She had no idea where she was. Soon after, she was led down a dark hallway to a room with a large altar. She felt herself being lifted up and then placed back down on the hard stone surface. Now all she could see was a large man, holding a knife in his hands, with the sharp edge pointed directly over her heart...Then a different man with deep blue eyes was looking down at her, and his hand was caressing her face, telling her everything was going to be ok. A loud bang on the door made her startle and rise up. There, coming through the door, were several large angry men, dressed strangely in what looked like animal furs and carrying ominous looking weapons. Some had clubs with sharp objects attached to the ends and others had sharp axes and swords. She could hear her own screams escaping from her lips, and she opened her eyes to notice she was lying in her bed in the safety of her room in the convent where she lived. She was still trembling and had to tell herself it was just a dream. She was safe and no one would ever be able to hurt her.
