Failed experiment

It's dark.

I couldn't see anything.

I couldn't see anything yet I was used to it.

I was used to this place.

I was used to feeling the cold and heavy metal in my feet and hands. I was used to lying in the cold, hard ground, hearing the rats squeak and seeing a small door open to put food in my cell.

This is my everyday life. And I deserve this. I'm nothing but a failure.

I know I will be obliterated, one day, because I have no use.

So here I am. Waiting for the moment they will erase my existence.

Who am I?
