When Tess chose Dauntless over her family and friends back in Amity, she knew exactly what she was getting into. She would be experiencing things she never thought she would live through, things she wished she never overheard from the Dauntless-born.
But there was no turning back after letting her blood sizzle on the burning hot coals of the Dauntless.
Tess, now known as Ebony, stays close to a new initiate, one she found interesting.

Dauntless has created an image for Eric after an incident during his initiation and no one knows the real him nor do they want to know the real him. When it is time for new initiates, he has to overlook their training as part of his leader training. When an Amity transfer gets a little too close to Eric, she wants to know who he really is, NOT the ruthless leader image he projects to be. Eric doesn't know how to react because no one has ever tried to get close to him before so how should he react? Will he react in a good or bad way? Does she despise the real Eric or will she help him let go of the past and love the real him? All rights/ credits go to Veronica Roth. ~ Adding a new twist to the infamous series Divergent by Veronica Roth ~ When Evelyn Johnson, mother of Tobias Eaton and wife of Marcus Eaton, fakes her death in order to escape the domestic abuse of her husband, she flees to the Factionless in hopes to find a haven. She's met with uncertainty and guardedness from the very people she used to support by providing basic survival supplies. Up until she reveals a secret that changes - and will change - everything: she's pregnant. She asks the Factionless for their help and they oblige out of sympathy once she recounts the trauma she went through. Astrid Johnson grows happily among the Factionless - she makes friends and feels included in the community, but her existence remains unknown to her father Marcus and her brother Tobias. Evelyn tells her their story and trains her from the earliest age to run, climb, fight, and also jump on and off moving trains. She raises Astrid with the idea that at age 16, she will join Dauntless and secretly look out for Tobias, whom Evelyn mostly lost sight of. Evelyn sees it as the only way to reconnect with her long-lost son, wishing he would join the boiling revolution among the Factionless. Except that obviously, things don't always go to plan. The basic plot of Divergent, Tris transferring to Dauntless and her and Four falling in love are still happening, but in different order and with my own twist to it. Like many fanfics, the war doesn't happen in this, but many twists, dangers and people from the past try to stop Fourtris's happiness.
