People question why we did what we did. And I don't really know what drove me to do it. I just saw a problem and fixed it. People may see me as evil but I already did it and there is no going back. Let me explain. In the year 2050 the government shut the people out. People had no jobs, no food, and no hope. As a child at the time, it seemed like it would always be that way. Then I met Nerissa Jackal, people know her as The Admiral. We met at school, this wasn't like the schools you have now, school was a place where we gathered to see where the most food was to hunt, and she was with her brothers Tyler and Coren. Tyler was a traveling merchant and he was taking care of them because her parents had supposedly died when the leeches (government) abandoned us. Lots of people died after they shut us out.

"Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
