People question why we did what we did. And I don't really know what drove me to do it. I just saw a problem and fixed it. People may see me as evil but I already did it and there is no going back. Let me explain. In the year 2050 the government shut the people out. People had no jobs, no food, and no hope. As a child at the time, it seemed like it would always be that way. Then I met Nerissa Jackal, people know her as The Admiral. We met at school, this wasn't like the schools you have now, school was a place where we gathered to see where the most food was to hunt, and she was with her brothers Tyler and Coren. Tyler was a traveling merchant and he was taking care of them because her parents had supposedly died when the leeches (government) abandoned us. Lots of people died after they shut us out.

But then one day, they began destroying things. Killing people. They seemed indestructible, and they all formed together to create an army. A huge war began, and it ended badly not for the robots, but for everyone else. Now the world seems to be falling apart, and people are dying with the destruction and famine caused from the war; along with the new 'government' in the largest city, which is spreading. Surrounding the city was destroyed towns, rusted with parts flung around. People are trying to survive the best they. But what will happen to them? What will they do? He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
