In 2048 vampire and human's lived together. They finally reached peace with the humans. Presidents or dictators no longer rule. Instead vampire are kings and queens over different areas off the world.  To keep the population of vampires and human's equal, humans and vampires were allowed to marry. Turning a human was a right given when necessary. Vampires began making arranged marriages with humans.  Other creatures that once hide in the shadows came to light. Being allowed to follow the new laws given.  In order to keep the peace. The King and Queen of each ruling area picked who their offspring would marry. 

But the tricky thing about arranged marriages. You don't know who you could be marrying. Even if you think it's a vampire...All Rights Reserved

For a moment, I was frozen, unsure of whether I wanted to push him away or kiss him back. Since I was not in control of my body around him, I kissed him back hard.
