It's Carrie Martin's 13th birthday. She'll find out whether or not she's a Morph- someone blessed with the ability to turn into an animal at will. Morphs discover their animal on their thirteenth birthday. They can only turn into one animal, though, and it's different depending on the person.

After she lost her one true love something changed inside of her and whatever changed inside of her changed her because she is no long the sweet, loving, caring and spontaneous child she once was.
