It's Carrie Martin's 13th birthday. She'll find out whether or not she's a Morph- someone blessed with the ability to turn into an animal at will. Morphs discover their animal on their thirteenth birthday. They can only turn into one animal, though, and it's different depending on the person.
And Carrie's a Morph all right, but it's nothing like she expected. Now she has a huge secret to hide, starting with a few easy white lies, but then it gets complicated when she's faced with the choice between saving her school and saving herself.
