A black girl name Joe wants to find love, but it is hard because guys think she is crazy or weird.  So she stays in her own isolated world, but she has one friend,  a Korean girl named Aya Jandi. She is extremely weird, but outspoken and trust worthy. One day a new guy in the school. He is the hottest guy there and he is a foreigner, a native-American name Lucas. Joe beings like him but she does want to scare him, but Lucas is to take an interest in her. However, will Joe break out of her world to love this guy Lucas or will she stay in her little world? Also her family is keeping a secret she doesn't know. Will she ever found out?
