Moonstone is an ordinary homeworld gem. She might disagree with a fewthings Yellow Diamond says but all in all she's very loyal. But one day, a mysterious gem, by the name of Rose Quartz, rebel's against yellow diamond and changes Moonstone's view on things. But she's been taught all her life to stay on Yellow Diamond's good side, so reluctantly, Moonstone fights against the Crystal Gems and Rose Quartz. But Moonstone accidentally does something she regrets and decides to rebel against homeworld and join the crystal gems. Buy, it is too late, the damage has been done. The Crystal Gems do not accept her and she has no where to turn to bbecause homeworld does not trust her anymore. She is left all alone...

SLOW UPDATES Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.

They found out that you didn't understand fusing or emotions and said "well, as a entertainer you need to understand the acts you're performing! And a entertainer should be happy! It's part of their job! It's all a Tanzanite is!" And were going to shatter you.. Or so they thought. This story takes place sometime when season 5 is nearing it's end (I do not own the art used in the book. All rights go to the creators of the artwork.) (All rights to characters go to Rebecca Sugar. The only character that is mine in this book is Tanzanite and the fusion gems involving Tanzanite.)
