In a matter of days, half of the world's population was either dead or turned. The government collapsed, TV and radio stations shut down, and everyone was left to fend for themselves. Kelley lost everything in the beginning. Her family, her house, even her small hometown in the state of Georgia. So she decided to leash up her dog, a Belgian Malinois named Bud, gather some supplies, and head towards Atlanta. She encounters a small group along the way. Survivors just like her, with stories and losses of their own. She soon becomes close to them, feeling like she has found another family, and she will do anything to protect them. This is a story of lost, love, survival, and surprises. The world doesn't care that you are alone, doesn't care if you're hungry, and doesn't care that death lurks around every corner. The undead feed on the living and the living can't be trusted. As the days pass and the world she knew was gone, she keeps a record of everything that has happened since first night. The Man With The Crossbow (Daryl Dixon romance)
Alex wasn't expecting to see anyone out in the woods while looking for her next shelter. The two men seemed like obnoxious, loudmouth rednecks. The ones she had to deal with before shit hit the fan. But now, she rarely saw and dealt with people. She preferred it that way, getting close with people is too risky and will end with someone getting hurt. And going against her better judgment, she becomes close with these men, especially the man with the crossbow. This will be based off The Walking Dead but will definitely be different. I do not claim any characters from The Walking Dead, only the ones that I create. This story is rated R for foul language, gore, and sexual content.
